Im very happy with my chip running closed loop lambda control.

It does not feel as punchy as an Ahmed chip when the boost kicks in. However it picks up better, feels more driveable and smooth so I would not be surprised if its actually faster and its just the refined curve that makes it feel less fast.

Better fuel economy too, ive tested it back to back with my Ahmed chip.

ive been in stu's old rwd saph and gus's 4*4 saph, both impressive greens conversions, both recorded "rather torquey" on the ass dyno

set the boost to what it should be m8 as it may possibly be on a lower load site in the map and may melt

The chip should be unlimited for off the shelf!!!...ie the more boost the more fuel and appropiate ignition curve....your injectors should lean out before a professional map does!

Hmm.... Stu has my engine specs and 23peak, 20hold should be no problem. He suggests 26peak, 23hold. I'm a bit confused now?

Evening Thomas,
Thought id best pop on and elaborate slightly on what Gus is trying to say

The way a chip works, is that at a certain boost pressure the information will start to be read from the line in the fuel and spark maps that are intended to be used "Flat out" so to speak.

Commonly, people think;
" i will run less boost for safety"
or
"I will fit a 2 stage boost control"

And this can lead to problems rather than make it safer, as the information being acessed at the boost pressure is often not what the chip was designed for and can cause under or over fueling.

The bottom line, as Gus rather elequently put it Is just follow your tuners recomendations and all should be fine for you. We dont recomend you push things too hard as we are, in mail order cases, working in the dark and thus have to leave a strong margin of safety in the software and instructions that we are sending out to you.

In your particular case, 23psi peak with 20psi held will be ok if a little over rich, but ideally i would still like her to "hold" just a little more boost if possible to keep the mixture within my ideal expected window as the instructions do of course state.

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion, but if not please feel free to contact me at your convenience as i dont want you to have any doubts after a purchase from me.
