Default Anyone used banded wheels???

as above im thinking of having some banded steels made for my car but dont have any experiance with them, has anybody had them done and where did you have them made?

im after a something no one else has done yet so was thinking about steels on my mk2 escort but i want a staggered fit like bmw etc, but iv never actually seen any done

there was a ford zephyr Mk1 in classic ford a couple of years ago running on banded steels and i must say it looked fookin amazing.

i looked into them when my brother bought a polo... i think your looking about £300 to get a set banded but depends on how big the bands are and where you get them done but i saw a pretty sexy set of banded space savers a while back lol.

if you want specific details google "wheel whores" and you should get all the info you need

definitely use jamesp. I have heard nothing but bad press for bandedsteels company. Also have seen some of their shoddy work first hand. A friend sent over a brand new set of steels to be banded. They came back with rusty and buckled lips etc... so where did the new wheels go i wonder???
