Middlesex RSOC are having a rolling road day on the 27th August, its going to be featured in fast ford magazine.

I was going to go along with my nova, as I dont have a ford on the road at the moment (no tax/mot on the 3 door), just to make up numbers really and make sure the club filled all its spaces.
I would be quite happy to let Mo have my place instead though if he wants to put his car onto the rollers as so many people are interested in what sort of power it makes.
I've already paid for the space and im not bothered about having any money back, so he can have it FOC if he wants it.


Got any good excuses not to go to that one Mo?

I would imagine he will use about 40 quid in fuel doing brum to uxbridge and back, possibly 50 quid if he meets a veryon on the way and blasts up to 270mph to show it how slow it is.

So if a few people like yourself put a 5'er each in the pot, it would make it a very cheap or even a free day out for young mohamed.

The BBQ is even included, so he wont even need to buy food there, well unless he has a halal diet or something, but I think there will be a good salad bar with the BBQ anyway

I personally believe his car WILL make quite decent power, I dont see how you can have a 16v 2 litre engine with well over a bar of boost from a large turbo blown through it and not end up with 300bhp+ really TBH

When I booked the day I didnt know what I would be doing at the time, and im actually meant to be down in somerset that weekend now, so its quite an inconvenience for me to take the nova all the way up to uxbridge and back for no good reason (it'll be on the rollers soon anyway for me to do more mapping so its not like I need a power run) so I thought it might be fun to give Mo the chance to proove all the doubters wrong.

I personally beleive he has a quick car, but just happens to be a total fucking cock, so I think he will surprise people if he does go by how much power he actually has as I think a lot of people on here think its under 250bhp and I dont beleive that it is.

 

Can I please send a mate along with his Lambo, would make an excellent grudge match on the rollers

Agreed, it's a 300+ bhp car IMO. Zetecs have been known to go over 300bhp on standard heads and standard cams before a few times.
