Default someone help lol

could anyone tell me what else id need to put this lot http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=270798930519 into my 1.3 mk4 escort as i aint got a clue what gearbox and engine mounts could i use ?

this engine is round the corner from me, are you local. i think all that needs doing is a lug cutting of your original engine mount on the 1.3 and a piece of 3mm plate welding on to allow for the slightly different location of one of the bolts. you will have to check about the flywheel tho make sure it and the clutch will be compatable with your box you need a 1.6 zetec flywheel or fiesta turbo as far as i remember.
i would ask what car the inlet was designed for as it may not be suitible for your engine bay. i wouldnt say its worth 900 tho 100 tops for the carbs 150 for engine another 300 for the rebuild and i would question who has done the porting as the diy inlet manifold would lead me to belive it has been whoever fordged that beautiful inlet. if you were serious i would go check it out for you?

thanks for that mate im now thinking i might just buy a standard engine and get it built myself, atleast then i will know the exact spec and whats been done to it, what is the best engine to start with a silver top or black top ? i dont want to go turbo just n.a

silvertop is a more straight forward fit. was a feature in fast ford while back Ade had a 2.0 silver top in his mk4 estate showed it step by step

buy a complete car for a donor then you can here engine running ect and there is plenty for under 400
