Default Gymkhana 4!
So Ken Block and the DC team are bringing us Gymkhana 4. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I think he is great to watch and a very talented "hoonigan" but funny as hell when he was beaten at his own even!

What are peoples opinions on the whole Gymkhana thing?

Gymkhana 3 with the Fiesta is ace! Although the Subapoo sounded better imo.

I think they are a great demonstration of man vs machine - Ken's a legend, no airs and graces, just says it like it is.

In comparison to other and considering all the hype about him, he makes stupid mistakes. Personally there's plenty of more deserving drivers that are in the JWRC that deserve his spot, who have to work hard for it. Not just walk in like he did because of his popularity...

Walk in? Aside from the fact that he has worked hard to create a brand, working hard to become popular and working hard to get sponsors to back him as well as his own brand to back him. Not quite "walking in" to the rallying.

Blah blah, who cares about the branding. He's a gimic, just like the F1 driver. Both are great at what they did/do outside of rallying, but they are shite in comparison to loads of youngsters that are EARNING the right to graduate from the JWRC to the WRC.

did u see mobil 1 the grid this morning on channel 4. There was a piece on him. And through that footage alone he's defo a showman and a bit to keen on the rally track. Doesnt look like he likes using the brakes but fair play to him. Look forward to following his progress over the next few years

Pretty good arguement to say that Rallying would be even less popular than it is now if it wasn't for him getting the viewers in. He is clearly a proper petrolhead, living the dream, who can knock that?
