hello my fellow ford fans

just a quick question about swapping my 99' 1.8 blacktop focus engine for the 2001 2.0 blacktop focus engine.

im not a rich man otherwise i would do the whole RS engine swap and would still be asking this question.

so,there is a 2.0 engine for sale on ebay and wanted to know if i can drop it in and away to go or is there more learkin in this swap.

any help at all will be honoured and i will ask the wife to kiss a piece of paper and send it to you if you can help me out.

Drop it straight in. Either get the 1.8 ECU remapped or fit a 2.0 ECU. If you change the ECU you will need the chips out of the keys from the car that the new ECU belongs to.

 

so i can just unplug and replug it back up using all the 1.8 plugs?

and just need a remap?
