Default Santa Pod 19th Feb 10am-8pm

Taken from the Pod site:

Saturday Night Special 19th Feb

New for 2005 is the Saturday night special Run What Ya Brung on Saturday 19th February. This is a “legal cruise”- somewhere to bring your cars or bikes, hang out with your mates or car club and most importantly – RACE! (without upsetting the police or other road users).

All cars and bikes welcome- competition vehicles, modified, classic and American cars and all types of motorcycle.

The track will be open till 8pm so you can stay late and race after dark. We even have the spectacular 270mph Jet Car doing demo runs, and Roaring Thunder the jet truck will give free rides to the kids! Camping on site is provided free for weekend ticket holders! Catering facilities and a full bar will be open at night with a DJ keeping the party moving.

The track will be open from 10am-8pm on Saturday, and 10am-5pm on Sunday (track and weather conditions permitting). Entry is no more expensive than a normal Run What Ya Brung- just £10 on Saturday, £10 on Sunday or £20 for the whole weekend (per person). Signing on for use of the track is the normal £15 per day! Don't forget your driving licence if you want to use the track.

News Update: Every driver/rider “signing on” will be entered into a free raffle with top prizes up for grabs, so if you needed another reason to have a go on the track yourself, this is it!

Dom,
Yeah, GREAT idea on standard gearbox / diffs with a 400+bhp engine . Not one for intelligence hey Dom? Perhaps you were at the back of the queue? In fact, I think you were at the END of the queue !

Its not exactly night racing when it only goes on till 8, it sometimes carries on till gone 6 on a normal day anyhow.

And i dont see why peoples getting hardons over that either, most people have pussied out and fucked off home by 4pm, often the last hour or so you can get more runs in than the whole of the rest of the day put together.

If it was night racing till a decent time (10? midnight? like they do abroad) i can see the point, but only till 8pm, id rather go out on the piss instead, it is saturday night...
