Hi there just wondering if anyone could give any tips how to solve this problem myself if it is possible if not how much roughly is it going to set me back at a garage to get it done! My problem is that my car ( a 1.4 fiesta zetec mk6) seems to be leaking gear box oil from the front of the gear box ( i presume this is the box at the front to the right if you was looking at it) would it just be a seal that has gone or am i looking at something a whole lot more serious fix??
Any help would be appreciated!! James!

It seems to be leaking from inside the box on the front left, where you would fill up the gear box oil, i first thought it would be the driveshaft seals but these look dry so im stumped unless it could be the o ring around the nut where i would re-fill the gear oil. i'll try n get a picture up!

theres an 8mm filler plug, is it tight? theres also detent spring cover on the front check thats tight. Also check the breather on the top of the box is the right way around, the arrow on the top should point to the front of the car.
