Default No fordfair for me :(

one of my wheels has died so no fordfair for me, gutted is a understatement!

someone had the wrong bolts fitted to my escos wheel before i brought them, i replaced them with the right ones, but the damage seems done and they have damaged the bolt holes and now they are dangerous, which i noticed when my wheel started wobbling whilst driving it today (luckily)

Been looking forward to ths show all year too!!!

i have my standard 3 spokes but they are in need of a refurb, and the cars mint ready for the stands, even had the cossie wheels painted.....another problem being i have 300mm brakes now so my standard wheels will no longer fit over the brakes

get down halfords and buy some sand paper/ primer/ and decent silver paint ( a bright one) and laquer and just when putting the primer on keep rubbing them down till they are proper smooth....

best to stand back abit to get a light coating on at a time, i did a set of scrap wheels last year and sold them for £300 as they come out that nice....

wont be more than £60 and you could get £200 for them finished?????

Just put the standard wheels and brakes back on if you can. Job done!

Or try and get a lift with someone else. Can still enjoy the day out without your car there!

That's what I was going to say, use different wheels to get there, stick the cossies on there, then swap to go home

Surely this blindingly obvious - chuck your Cossie wheels on the front (2 of the 3 good ones you have). Stick 2 of your 3 spoke OE wheels on the back.

Drive there, swap the two remaining Cos wheels onto the car at the show. Job done, 50% of the effort needed to do all 4 wheels, 50% less wheels to cart up to the show in the first place.

Simples

Exactly.

Could be worse, mine won't run properly and my daily car has it's MOT this week. I could end up walking
