Help needed drıvıng Transıt from England to Mongolıa - Dıfferentıal the same?

Hi

I have a Brıtısh Ford Transıt 190 2.5 Dıesel 1996 Ambulance and am currently ın Turkey drıvıng ıt to Mongolıa for charıty.

Can anyone tell me ıf the dıfferentıal at the rear axel ıs the same on left hand drıve as rıght hand drıve? Ours ıs stıckıng and we are debatıng whether to source the part from Turkey.

But thats a hell of a road trip, how longs it took you to get to turkey? what route?

They will be identical to look at but there was a few variations of axle ratio.

With regards to having one from a left hand drive , That doesnt matter it will fit. But as said the ratio is th problem. Some ratio's will have you flat out art about 60 and others will let you cruise fairly steady at 70 so you need the same ratio as you have now really as im sure being an ambulance this would have been taken into consideration when being made onto an ambulance
