Well, whose going?, For those who don't know what it is it's a 2 day rally in Bournmouth town centre on the first night, then into the woods the following day, and it's happening in 2 weekends time,I'm doing service crew for a few mates and I may be doing "Chase car" too.This is a v expensive event to enter and has some top WRC cars there.
Last year the lapdancers from FYEO were in the service area handing out free entry tickets too!

was one of the best days of last year, had such a laugh in the car and was an awesome day!

 

people entering club events in wrc and super1600's does piss me off, was flashed to move over by a works entered puma once, he had his own Ford RS service team and everything, went around the following bend and he'd gone into the trees! The wife was on the air hons big stylee!

anyone fancy meeting up in Spearmint Rhino? last time I was there I blew Ł280!

 

Went to that in 2001 when I was at uni. Watched a stage in Ferndown forest I think it was and the one round the winter gardens. Were quite a few cossies and metros there. Got some good pics as well.

Then decided to have a blast in the 1.8 pinto along a gravel road with baldish tyres. Got caught by the cross wind going through a clearing at about 60mph and nearly ended up in a tree. Scared the crap out of me and my mate in the car!

Hearing a Metro 6R4 coming through the forest with the raving hump is something everybody should experience

 

Shame the 6R4 died on the Friday / early Sat morning last year - I only heard it down the long sea front straight but it sounded mad and was running in 3rd against the WRC cars!

Think there was a Pug Cossie of some description as well?

The only intergrale died on the seafront on the Friday night last year , hit a curb and ripped the suspention off

 

I'm getting excited now! I'm doing service crew for a mate and hopefully helping doing chase car for another mate in the afternoon.

 

we did have some footage from when me steve and ryan were trying to get the cossie out of the mud............ all dressed to the eyes balls you know like wat we all do then end up covered in mud where Mr Ryan was spinning the tyres in 5th at 5mph lol


Cracking time last year cant wait

 

Was an awesome day last year one of the best of the year for me, last time i drove the cossy aswell. Was a Bit stuck there, but once we got out, much sideways action was had on exiting the rally. Should of done the course myself!

Best bit of the dave is when some matey in his mk5 tried following me down a dirt track, i went round sideway, so did he, but ended up in a ditch on the side of his car as he rolled it. I had to stop driving i was laughing so much. Anyway we got out and all pushed him back onto 4 wheels! Got back in the car and off we went.

Never seen a saph carpet so muddy.
