Saw one this morning on the A92 outside Munich, undisguised apart from some tape over the M5 badge.

It was a dark blue metallic one which I think has been seen a few times before, not unusual as it is going to be doing a lot of miles locally! Not a colour I'd go for but much better than the gold E60 M5 I saw testing a few years back (seriously, I hope no-one actually paid for a gold one! ).

In any case it looked pretty discrete, I noticed it more due to the tape on the back, the other minor details like the exhausts weren't so obvious at first; from a quick look in traffic it's just another 5 Series.

Performance was impressive though, the E60s could fly by pretty quick but this thing really could shift - we were doing ~180kph at first but when the traffic opened up it was out of sight in no time. Was a shock how few seconds it took to pull that far away.

Really looks like a good toy to have, I can think of better ways to burn the cash it will depreciate, and I'm sure it won't be a great idea to have an early one but it still seems strangely tempting!!
