can a throttle body and injectors cause high emissions?
had the car on the exhaust probe and the emmissions were high?
can a throttle body cause high emissions if so why?? clogged up??
also can injectors cause this?

What emissions ? Need proper details from a 4/5 gas before can even start to resolve.
TB just lets air in. Injectors could perhaps cause problems if they were clogged, or dribbly etc. But it's rare.

steve this is the fault code i have with my VR6, high revving 2500rpm on the emissions came up with 3 reds as a fail and low idle was a fail?

Clean the throttle housing mate and reset the basic settings.

how do i reset basic settings danny? battery off for 30 mins?

Basically the throttle flap gets clogged up with scum and 'exceeds' the learnt adaption value. (hence the fault you have)
Cleaning it should sort it but you should the reset the adaption value (basic setting)

There is a certain procedure where you key on/off a number of times with the drivers door open which relearns the throttle body, have a look on the vr6 owners club forum. someone there will know.
I assume you've put a new air filter in/replaced maf etc?

Yes mate air filter is brand new and maf is fine mate
