the tracker on my work van is a right nightmare, it records everything and work watch it on 1 computer all day so they no where you are when you stop when the engine is on and not moving also when your speeding as iv had a few tellings off about that.

that sort of tracker is wired into the vehicle and uses a phone sim to send the details, easy enough to sort as all you do is pull the wire to the sim card 
but when you power it up again it sends all the stored info
been there done that, part of my job to chase up peeps at work to see where they are and what they are doing but it's a totally different set up to what the car type trackers cost from what i can understand
