Default 18s on RSTs

Do you need to fit coil overs on an RST to put 18s on it.

no,

you dont necessarily need coilovers
same as on a saph

It all depends on wheel width, offset, and tyre profile

They will fit Davie but you'll have to loose a fair bit of your nice clean arches

I think the 205/35/18 Tyre is available to buy now. I know it has been on the cards for some time. It is an OE tyre for the Mk2 V6 Clio, but I think that it is made by Toyo also, which means I would be able to supply it. Wouldn't be the nicest of tyres in terms of comfort, but for someone wanting to put 18's on an RST, the furthest thing from your mind is comfort.

It IS on soft. I'm not moaning about it, it is what the car is. And I disagree about bad handling on 17's. How would you know anyway

18's go on but you need to do lots of cutting and trimming. go for a focus off set. i'v got 7.5x 18's with 215/35x18's. they are a 38mm offset. the rear arches have been folded up and flared out as far as poss.
they still catch on arch just above where it meets bumper.
