My mum connected to 56k on her laptop earlier, she gets a pop up about an online betting site.

next minute she gets disconnected then it says "connected to NV at 46.6kb" and theres a little meter in the corner going up 25p a second!

it got to 75p and i pulled the internet connection out and closed it down.

is there anyway i can find out who these fuckers are so i shaft a rusty knife up there arse?

Run Adaware Pro with latest Definitions to remove scumware and shit from Registry.
Manually remove the Dial-up entry in Dial up settings after restoring proper numbera andsetting it to default.
