Default Road going quad insurance

After renting one while on holidy, I got hoked to Quad-bikes to the point I want one instead of a car once I pass my test (which I will )

Is it cheaper to insure a quad at 17 than a car? About the same? A hell of a lot more?

Thanks

not sure if your aware but renting quads or mopeds on holiday is quite dangerous as your holiday insurance will more than likely not cover you should you come off,
100's of people get caught out with this year in year out.

i think you misunderstood me, it doesnt matter if its road use or off road use,
if you were to hurt yourself using a quad or scooter on holiday you will most likely find that your holiday insurance wont pick up the medical bill which would leave you in a bit of a pickle!

Good, sounds like this could work. I'm not paying £2000 to insure a pile of crap if I can insure a quad for less
