If you bought a car off a disabled person, would it be ok to drive the car around with there disabled tax disc until the next reminder is sent through or would that be illegal?

Reason im asking is coz im intrested in a car with the above but i dont know if it would be legal to drive the car home or not

Any help would be great

No, not legal.

You'd have to be the unluckiest person ever if you get caught/prosecuted for this, if you got stopped, but as said it's untaxed effectively, BUT if near enough why not ask the seller to drive it to yours, and you run him home ?, someone nominated by him like wife etc can drive it to yours as well, as it's in/for his benefit.

as said, its illegal lol

our cmax was ex mobility and before the garage let us have it he had to go to the dvla and get the usage changed over.
