what sort of power would you need in a frst to take on and beat a focus st say from the off to about 8omph and what sort of spec would it need

 

i know the question seems a bit chavvy but some1 must know ?

 

Not much more that 180 brake as the ST weighs alot more than the Escort.

 

its a fiesta so 180bhp would be a good match for a focus st so 230 would destroy it i presume

 

I take a mate of yours has recently bought one (thats normally the case), remember an st will probably leave it when it comes to corners so invest some money on handling related upgrades.

 

No it's just the kind of cars I want to be baiting and beating off the lights duel carriage ways ect , I want the shock element,just wondering on the power figur I should be aiming for,so I can start costing it up and getting spec iv done brakes got st220 set on front new spax all round poly bushes and going for puma set up on back I think

180-200 will see you infront no problem mate.
