hi guys goin to look one tomorrow just wondering on few tips of wat to look out for car will be taken to a lift ,need a ford to drive as my cosworth is gettin restored lol, thanks alot

i no all bout rust seems pretty clean any other we fauls i mean i can look out for inner wings have been replaced and some floor plan, seems straight enough rite clean one, wats thiese worth ?

scrappers are going for £500-1000 its wrong tbh,gone are the days of buying one T&T'ed for £3-500,ive bought complete xr2's 6 years ago for £40 even swapped some alpine door speakers for a complete xr2 once,payed 1100 for my current one cat-d,joke really

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
There's a drain pipe that runs from the sunroof down into the sills. These get blocked up over time and then the water just sits in the sunroof area and rots the roof..
If it's not rusty then get it.. They are simple enough and parts a plenty so any minor mechanical issues can be easily sorted..

as said above check the boot, around the sunroof and the pipes coming from the sunroof theres 1 at the front of the sill and 1 at the back on both sides of the car... check inner wings, outer wings, arches, a pillar all sills check the chassis legs as they rot like a f%cker floor and just general body panel mate as there hard to get now and abit on the costy side too.... so basically thats check the whole car lol
