Ive been thinking of putting the 3 door up for sale at that but want to replace it with something more reliable but still fast

Best bit of advice I can give you, don't sell the 3 door. Spent your budget on making it reliable, book it in with someone like MSD, get it all checked over, fit new sensors, gaskets, check for air leaks etc, sort out any worn suspension/braking components. You'll have a brand new car at the end of it, a reliable fast car that you won't have to regret getting rid of. You know it makes perfect sense.

Everybody I know who has got or had Imprezas would not call them reliable. After 3 engine failures in 2 years one calls it "that fucking car". Thought that comment was reserved for us Ford boys
