Default Thanks postie man

Hmmmmm this brown box arrived today

starting to open it up

and

Cant wait to get it fitted should make the focus even more lively

Although the service from vince and the team at cr turbo's was outstanding really peed off that no new gaskets come with the turbo considering the price etc, so still cant fit the thing and want it done for croft.

No doubt the focus will be getting slaughtered with that on

Btw, you need to edit the photo, or i think some withheld numbers will be ringing you!

Give Vince a call, its simply an honest mistake with the gaskets. He's never done me wrong or anyone I know who have had work done by him and his team.

Give him a ring

Totally different to my experience of them.

If you had 3 turbos seize then I would argue that you have a problem somewhere like no oil pressure getting to the turbo though, for 1 to go wrong is unlucky, 2 is unlikely, 3 in a row is really sounding like its not the turbo!

Give more details please if you are going to be making accusations

i didnt say i had 3 turbos seize, i had one seize as soon as i fired up my engine

the 1st one went and he said it was conatmination in oil and i needed a turbo filter, ok fair enough so i bought everything off him again with filter, put it on there was a rattle, gone down the road and the thing seized solid didnt even hit 10 psi, his excuse was my car ran lean and got so hot it seized which is just a load of bolox, then the 3rd one knocked Ł100 off whoopy doo, used it for about 100 miles took it off and sold it and broke the car cus it pissed me off so much with wasting over 1500 on turbos

All sounds perfectly reasonable to me, turbos dont just die for no reason, especially not good quality genuine garrett ones like CR sell.

1st reason i agree on, second the turbo rattles on start up, and then seiezes with less than 10 psi of boost in it, i never even got to the end of the street

so can you explain how my car ran lean to get the turbo that hot at 10psi or less not even getting out of 1st gear, becuase its just excuses like most turbo companies, warranty on turbos is about as good as used toilet paper none of the stick to there word even when there at fault

Hang, so it rattled on startup, and you thought the correct thing to do was take it up the road?

Priceless!

Sorry but should have come straight off at that point.

Must be very frustrating for turbo companies trying to come up with an idiotproof warranty

When I had an issue with a turbo I bought from CR they were very gracious and repaired it under warranty with no issues at all. I have bought several turbos from them. Delivery service is good too.
