Congrats to Pete, the stand and customer cars all looked amazing

Didn't really see the "Best track car" on track much at all though Looked great and seemed to sound good on the couple laps I saw it, but it wasn't out much from what I could tell nor belting around at break neck speed either. Whenever I went to time it, it pulled off a lap later it seemed. Should have taken a closer look at it, as I'm sure it's a great car don't get me wrong, but I'd think there were quite a few alternate candidates for the title IMHO.

Most entertaining car on track was the red Mk2 with RS Combe 2011 written down the side - great bit of driving from him on both the drift and normal sessions

Some of the cars on the club regional stands were a real credit to their owners, great car eye candy everyone

Si, the thing with the car is it has just had a hard weekend of abuse at Time Attack, coming first on saturday and second on sunday for its class.
and its only 3 weeks until the next round, so Dave wasnt out there today to set fast times or to give the car full abuse

it was certainly out on track as much as it could today, but it also had to be on Pete's stand a fair amount.
it did come in early at one point due to a gear linkage bolt coming apart but it was an easy fix, but then it was an hour que just to get back out there again

Fair play Doug / Kelv, great result for the owner at TA last week then

Would have loved to see it go some more, but as you say, no point killing it a couple weeks before more racing activities. Nice to see cars like these getting used properly, so was just hoping to see it and other ones similar on track more often and for longer to really see them in action.

There was a monster spec Red Escos on Pete's stand, real shame not to see that on track - looked liked an awesome car, that was lost parked up not moving

Personally would have loved to see more big spec cars out racing around with each other

Cheers Guys

Only got 3 sessions in 2 of which got cut short due to a gear linkage problem and a missfire in the last one due to a faulty plug

Ques a little to long today and agree with Si and 10 mins is plenty

Would have loved to get out more in, but good to get a bit of a shake down with the new 4x4 set up to get used to driving it properly and solve a few minor issues
