Default advice please

I presently own a rev 3 mr2 which gets used in anger on the track the car is lowered with 18's on it, its recently had a new clutch and front brakes (engine wise its standard at 170bhp) I'm considering buying a standard mr2 turbo, everthing is standard on it suspension brakes etc... i've known the car for 6 years, my girlfriends uncle owns it(he's just turned 60 so its not had a hard life), Di i buy the turbo (standard trim is meant to be 240bhp) and hope brakes , clutc and suspension are up to the job, or do i stick with what i got????? opinions please???

Go for the turbo mate.
Mate of mine has a rev 2 and hes had it for seven years, its got nos, uprated ecu, boost contoller, intercooler running 260 bhp on standard internals and its been thrashed most days of its life and its still going strong.
All hes had to do is put a gear box in it.
great cars pretty bullet proof
