Well Im off to silverstone for the f1 this year will be thare fri to sun with a walk about ticket so who's been and what are the good spots to see the action from as this will be my first time !

 

I've been and was in a grandstand at the last corner, so could see the cars come in through the S bend and up the pit straight. I found it a bit boring so I'm trying Spa this year

 

I'm off there on the friday too mate!

 

nice! maybe we could meet up Ill let you know what camp site Im at will be having a lot of vodka !

 

its all changed there now, there are new pits which are no where near the old ones,
people who sit in the grandstand opposite the old pits wont be able to see the new pits at all.

its called 'the wing' and its fooking huge

 

round the exit of vale and club is quite a good spot IMO..

you can see the end of the hanger straight, stowe, all of vale, club and up the abbey straight with the new start finish line...

where ever you go on Sunday get there early....

Im there Fri,Sat and Sunday, VIP Paddock passes too.....armed with the camera so will be plenty of pics
