Default Any Ford mechanics ? Galaxy clutch pedal problem !

A friend of my wife has a 56 plate 1.8 TDCi Galaxy and the clutch pedal has gone all to shit on it !

There are no signs of fluid leaks from the slave or master cylinder but the pedal is doing nothing and goes straight to the floor with zero resistance !

Only got a quick look at it tonight at the side of the road so no had a chance to give it a right looking over but wondered if there is any known problem with these things as she said it was fine one minute then nothing the next !!
