Default low speed stutter?????

been meaning to ask this for ages but keep forgetting got a slight problem on the wetfield, just as im slowly easing off the trottle at low revs as im driving it kinda hits a flat spot and the engine speed gets pulled down to idle then when i gently press the throttle again its coughs and splutters a bit before sorting itself out at around 1500rpm

now im not really using the car at the moment and need to get the fueling cheaked, the co is set to around 3%-3.5% (bit high till i get her cheacked)
but could anything else cause this problem?
im thinking maybe the tps??????

any ideas people?

cheers
