hi all,

im building a turbo zetec engine for my kit car, im runningomex 600 and a race technology dash 2, what sensors would most people be looking at running?

i have the normal water temp air temp oil pressure and oil temp, and boost i think i should be able to sort, is exhaust temp a good idea to have to keep an eye on? or what would you guys recommend

tps
map sensor
coilpack
crank sensor
coolant temp
inlet air temp sensor ( one with a quick sample rate saab turbo sensor i used on my nova)

extras

boost control solenoid
egt gauge ( omex 600 doesnt have input for egt seperate gauge would need to be used)
wideband sensor for closed loop fueling should you wish

 

thanks, im using the interface lead from omex to dash so that will pick up the normal engine sensors,

i will want a wideband at the least ill have a look at the exhaust temp sensors

 

I'd use all the normal engine sensors as it's a road car, personally I wouldn't bother with EGT.
