i didnt say 0-60 but once rolling say 60 onwards i really couldnt see my bike pulling away much if at all from my saff. i know its hard to tell but just the way they both feel . im sure a newer lighter 1000 would be totally different again.. my saff has 500 hp so not really a std one..

I can believe that, As my R6 vs a 506hp R33 from 30-100ish is about the same, but I imagine yours is a bit lighter than a R33?

Would say you need over 600bhp to keep with the likes of R1's
my saff has an m.a.d 500 with the same torque my r1 was a 98 with about 130 bhp (standard and did 176mph) car was as fast in gear on the move but it wouldent be as fast as a newer one with 160 + bhp!

i raced a Ninja (600) when I was running 340bhp in my old 3dr - had a good blast up the slip road with me chasing him and then as soon as we got on the motorway as I was pushing him along at 150mph on and off the gas trying to get him to move until a valve decided to go exploring and take the whole fucking engine with it :wall

they are bloomin fast, in my supra i couldnt shake off an r1 until i hit 4th gear then i pulled a good few lengths on him and ive had 2 t4 almost 500 hp cossies and the supra would absolutely destroy both of those with ease.

nice one mate. I would love my cossie to be as fast as some bikes. I had a play with a harley years ago and he was a bit shocked when he quickly turned round and seen that i was still behind him lol.

only very few are as fast as big bikes lol being as fast as an 120 - 140 bhp 1000cc is not that hard if you have a real 500bhp with the same torque but new 1000s with 170 bhp + are a very different story lol they are un real fast! and you would need the power people like rod or mad ad have to show them up on the move plus thats talking standard bike lol modded and you may as well not bother!
