as in tittle does anyone know the best place to get a cylinder head skimmed in essex?

where abouts are you in essex mate?
me and my 5 mates with cossies and rs turbos have had all our machine work done by SMITHS ENGINEERING its on burnt mills industrial estate, basildon.
he has been spot on and no of us has ever had any problems.
he"ll always explaim what he needs to do and wont ever mug you off.

specialized engines , they seemed very helpfull when i ordered my shells , they have a good name for them selfs

What ever you do, don't use the supposed engineering place on Rayleigh weir. Sent my cvh head there for a skim and when it came back, several of the rocker spacers were snapped, the cam had mysteriously aged about 10k and the bloke made out like he'd done me a favour by doing the work on it.
