One woman said on the local news this morning, "Ikea were offering beds for as little as Ł50, they should have expected problems!"

WTF

Think someone was stabbed too.

"Tottenham MP David Lammy said Ikea should have known offering cheap prices in a "poor" area would cause a rush"

"Patricia Ming said when the doors opened one woman "pushed her way forward screaming with excitement" then the crowd rushed in through the doors".

IMO worst place ever, wont go there ever again, why? Cos when you finally find the crappy shelf etc your after, you have to still walk the complete shop, two floors to get to the warehouse bit, then find the shelf on some rack somewhere, lug it to the till, then lug it out to your car

you have to do this your self because they only charge you about Ł5 for a shelf, Ł12 for a set of drawers, Ł20 for a wardrobe etc
If you had some half-wit to ask where things were and some nonce to get it for you along with the warehouse guy to help you to your car then i expect the prices would more that tripple.

My entire bedroom is decroated recently with furniture from Ikea.

No complains at all - great value for money, and it looks superb.

Anyway Phil, how can you be putting down Ikea furniture - you're a student! Your version of furniture is the floor

Snap mate. As the wife and I have only recently moved in together it made sense.

Snap again Bedroom looks pretty good and cost next to bugger all. Don't like the self assembly tools they give ya though. I end up using two cordless drills. One for a screwdriver and one for the allen key.

And PMSL I thought as a student you just sat on your old take away cartons
