they are fine ,as mercs etc have been using single wipers for years ,storm is the market leader ,but for me I hate the way they dont park low down on the screen like OE ones would
My MK1 Golf GTi Cabriolet has one, it was fitted to the car when I got it. Looks cool IMO, but it misses some of the screen in the eyeline as it was fitted to the passangers side mounting point rather than the drivers. Done for the Euro look I guess.
i have one on my Punto, parked down in the scuttle with a smooth cover on the arm. It works fine, i have the washer jets on mine's and have no complaints. It's a Storm one as well
if your a lanky twat like me they are crap i used to have a single wiper set up on my mk2 escort but i always ended up looking out the top right hand corner that the blade did not reach i have now gone back to two wipers again so i can see better .
Not to my taste, I'm afraid, but your car to do what you want with.

The Mercedes ones use a cam system so the wiper can reach up into the corners of the screen, but retracts down as it goes vertical to avoid going off the top of screen.
