welcom. your projects will always depend on budget. you won't get a better car than a cossie imo.

welcome to passionford and all the best for your wife mate,

as said, a 2wd saffi wanting a bit of TLC would be neat...

welcome mate. It all comes down to how much money u have. There are plenty of fords out there. You could get a fiesta rs turbo.

As above, ideal scenario for a cheap deal (for me anyway) is pretty much any RS with knackered transmission, but good engine and body, failing that i'd always go with one that at least had a good shell and replace the rest, at least you can sell the old crap to put the money towards new stuff, you can't do that with rotten floors etc...

thank you all for your suggestions, would like to do a fiesta rs again, had 1 about 7 yrs ago, got it to about 160 bhp with a little help, but had money to burn back then, now i am a carer for my partner so money is a big issue, but have seen a few cheap 1's nocking about and parts look cheap, my little bro has a 2wd saphire, and although its a basic 1 he has got it looking mint for not a lot of money, so might have to buy a part at a time for the fiesta rs haha, so if any 1 selling any bolts or screws let me know haha
