Help with a college assignment please
Hello helpful chaps! I'm stuck on one of my last assignments in college, which is to give 2 repair methods of repair for various problems in a car, and one of those is a worn differential unit. My two methods of repair are to have the unit either reconditioned, or to have the whole item replaced, but whats better? (Thats where I'm stuck), in terms of costs would a reconditioned item be better? But would a completely new one be more reliable in theory? Many thanks

a recon is as good as a new one but cheaper, it comes with new bearings diff crownwheel etc and as long as fitted with the corrct adjustments will last as long as a brand new unit, technicly speaking lol
