Keep the money in your pocket would be my best advice. The drums are more than capable of delivering the braking effort. If you fit rear discs you will have to fit a bias valve taking all the extra effort away or it will be very likely to lock the back wheels up and send you ff the road into the local scenery.

If you're the chap with the XR3i I would go with an ST170 Focus conversion up front and upgrade the rears to RS Turbo drums as they're bigger than the XR items

I believe it is the st170 discs and the mk3 mondy calipers.
I'm going for the Focus RS brembos and discs at the front and the 130 spec rear discs on mine

Buy the Focus ST170 calipers (they are slightly different to the Mondeo items) and 300mm discs and bolt them up, direct swap iirc from when mine were done.

Until my drums are proven to be unable to cope with the track use I shall be keeping them. The odd check and clean and they're still spot on

Ok so I don't need a spacing plate? Or anything like that they just bolt straight up ? Sounds to easy lol
