3 options; opt 1- buy new. opt 2- get the heat gun out. opt 3- go buy some trim paint from a motor factors, it comes in a rattle can and is very very good. We use it in our bodyshop all the time

Heat gun will bring the oils back thus the black coming back,or you could buy some c4 trim restorer which is the best product you can apply

What he said ^

All my mk3 golfs get this treatment but don't try and do the hole car at once, give the gun a rest for ten minutes every 25-35 mins otherwise it will pack up like mine did. And that was a Bosch one. Now i'm a De-walt diva

personally i have found autoglym bumper trim restorer gel cracking and quick. Doesnt smear and streak like the stuff out of a can and creates a good barrier against polish residue.

Rub it in, buff it off job done.
