Default Rouse sport 250-r (non cosworth model)

heard it said a few times but thought it was a load of bolloxs

But found a old fast ford mag and there it is a 2.0lt DOHC sierra gls with a t25 turbo fitted plus other mods and was 215bhp 250 lfb torque
the covn was £6500+vat on top of the normal gls sierra price.

around £22500 for a non cosworth sierra

Surely they did not sale many at that price never heard of it before and hope to make 200 models.

Tony, at about the same time Turbo Technics we're doing LOADS of conversions on XR4x4 and GLS 4x4.......They offerd several performance options from single to twin turbos (220 BHP - 325 BHP IIRC), and these TT cars could be purchased form the Ford dealership - Like the T25 2 litre DOHC these TT cars we're quite expensive AND they sold lots of them.

the most i have managed with a dohc on a turbo is 187bhp running 9 psi on standard compression as a turbo technics kit

new engine has had 7:1 custom forged pistons fitted, lightweight pins, lightened and balanced, ported head, got evo7 fuel pump, 310cc injectors and mbe ecu to fit, engine capable of running 22 psi max

ive never heard of a 250-R

the list price on my saff was 16k+ new, think the ol man still has the original bill somewhere, then he asked em for a cossie spoiler on the back and they cahrged him 300 when the parts dept round the corner would have charged 150
