yeah vauxhall cav gsi, had a sri loved it had it 1.5years always wanted a gsi, bought one and hated it with in 10 mins sold it on as soon as i could to mate, dont think i even got all the way home before i rang him!, not long after i had a astra gsi, allways liked them till i drove it, hated every second of it sold that straight on to mate after driving it once!.
Also had a corrado on throttle bodies, should of liked it but just never did

i once bought an opel ascona for a fiver as i was in serious need of some wheels for a week while i was fixing my other car i disliked it so much that after two days i drove to pilling sands beach drove into the sea till it was up to its wing mirrors! amazingly it still ran!! allthough it was knocking rather loudly so i built up as much speed as i could across the beach and parked it on top of a concrete pillar lol
to say it was a mess after that is an understatement , still ran tho lol the crank pulley was visibly moving up and down in time with the knocking!

mk3 golf gti,up there with the worst VW ever produced and that includes the aircooled era.
Slow, unreliable, heavy on petrol, handled badly and did absolutely nothing for me.
Foolishly swapped it for an audi coupe and rued the day I did,the audi did everything the golf didn`t,was better on fuel although 2.3 and I realised after a few hours it was a total mistake.
Buffed the stevie wonder paintjob and I must say it looked really pretty on 17`s,did the clutch, drove it for a week and tried to sell it,to no avail.
After a chance meeting,a mate mentioned that the boy I`d swapped it with hated the Audi and reckoned he`d had the bum deal, this being about 9pm when I was due in work at 5am the next day. After a phonecall and an hour or two later she was home with me,relief was not the word.
Drove it for a few months, shoved a new ticket on it and put it (stupidly) in the freeads where it went that night for full asking price.
One of the biggest automotive mistakes ever selling the car, would probably still be going fine now.

the nutty one
i think it's just beemers being boring i went from a 1978 vauxhall chevette saloon with a 1.3 crossflow ( f**king awsome car ) to a 318i e36 saloon and i really liked it till i bought it and it was overly expensive drank far to much fuel and was just boring and now swapped it for a 2ltr twinky saph

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I had a Mercedes W202 C230 Kompressor, very nice car, good to drive, comfy, nice chunk of power, obviously RWD and was manual! I got bored of it pretty quick though, probably within a few months of owning it and to this day I still don't know why and I would actually have another one now as a daily, weird.
Even stranger, the night I sold the Merc I went and bought a N/A derv Escort van and shat myself jumping from 193bhp to 56bhp or whatever the 1.8 dervs have and after a few weeks the van grew on me massively!

On the other hand, the cars I hated were a BMW 2002 and a Merc 190 - the Merc was the most unreliable car I ever owned.
Best car was my last Ford Escort, which went to Russia three times without a problem. It was that horrid 'radiant red' colour . . . which fades to white on the bonnet, rusty wheelarches and so on.
Still, I could leave it unlocked anywhere and be sure no one would steal it.
