If I was kicking around in a Porsche, regardless of model, then I'd have a nice fuzzy feeling inside that I'd ticked off one of the cars on my list of 'cars to own before I die' and wouldn't give a toss if people liked that or understood that.
Cheers,
Grant

But there are a lot of born again "sports car" drivers that are complete cock ends,I had a scooby classic ESTATE and had a total prick and his missus laughing at me in it,it was bog standard to look at as well, the only mod being 16" standard scooby alloys.
He was in his new Tt 3.2 (about 5yrs ago) and for some reason just found it very funny that I was driving a scooby (?????).
I looked across at him and he looked at me and went "bye bye".cheeky cunt!!!
Needless to say the sccob was not boggo but about 280bhp and being a pretty low geared beast up to 110 it was very fast, which on the mumbles road is more than enough, but by 80 he'd been suitably embarrassed.
Strange how he wouldn't look at me at the next set of lights and pulled off like a vicar.
Cock.
Rs's and xr's were the Chavmobiles of choice back in the day, even come the mid 90's the cossies were slipping into the hands of anybody who could get Ł3000 together and insure it in their mums name,it's only because most of them have rusted away that gives them a rarity now that they never had before,ok they were silly money when new,Ł22000 I believe for a boggo 2wd back in 1987/88,but theft and insurance premiums soon meant they weren't worth jack after 2-3 years, and probably 300 theft attempts!!!
I've got an old autotrader somewhere from 1994 and a Cossie would only be worth the same as a Renault 19 16valve at the time, yeah the Renault was a few years newer but try a h plate mk2 16v golf for Ł4000 or an f plate Cossie for Ł3500!!
Stateys car is mint,he's restored it to a very high standard and I'd hardly call him a Chav for simply enjoying using his power a bit!!!
