ive got a ggr stage 3 chip and it all runs fine on standard map sensor. got a new 3bar sensor, put it on as you do and when you start it up it runs slightly higher tick over for a few seconds then cuts out. put the standard map sensor back on and it runs fine againe. could it be a falty map sensor or just need setting up?? by the way its 2wd. any ideas people?

 

You can never, ever, change the type of map sensor unless the mapping is re-done too. Put back the sensor that the chip was made for!

 

As it's a stage 3 I assume it is meant to have a 3 bar map sensor ?, if you don't know you need to find out by asking who ever wrote/supplied the chip, it MUST use the one that was present when mapped, or chip was written for.

i brought the car with ecu allready chiped. ive had a look at the chip an its got ggr stg3 on it. never had a 3bar map sns on it thow. think ill have to book it in somewere and get it remaped. can you buy of the shelf chips for spec of engine etc?? thanks for the help
