Any recommendations for cheap van insurance? The comparison sites (inc swinton) and directline are coming up with £1100+!!!

27 - 4years NCB on car, 0 on vans but have previous experience....

if you have no ncb for this policy best bet is probably directline multi car policy if they will do it on a van.

Commercial policy?

Flux did me a shaddow policy when I got my van, I had 5 years ncb and they started a new policy with 0 ncb but gave me 5 years discount.

I'm paying £78/month now on my relay up from £33/month on my transit!!

What you want is a policy that will mirror your ncb over as an introductory bonus.

Most will do this to get your business.

My Daughter works in the Industry and sorted mine out which is why i am offering the same advise as she done for me

Thanks guys - any ideas as to which insurers are most open to that sort of negotiation? The companies I've tried have been useless - call centre staff who have no sense of the way business works lol

I've also told some of the cheapest ones to sod off due to them phoning up chasing despite not having permission to do so. I get enough nuisance calls every day without a load of masked conmen wasting my time as well!

Here's who i am with through my Daughter who works for them,They will mirror you NCB if you ask, very good but you have to ask for what you want (like everything these days) but seam to be a nice old fasioned type of Company. Give em a call rather than go through the web site form fill in rubbish thingy.
