With the new fastford coming out today i was finally able to see the feature on my home built 3dr!

If anyones bought it today (july issue) mines the white 3dr on pg 106.

It was thanks to advice from a lot of people on here that i was able to get it finished!

It turned out quite nice in the pics i think. Anyone else seen it?

I've asked them to send the pics from the shoot out to me, i had to wait for the mag to come out first before they'd let me have them. Must admit the photographer was spot on, although you do spend all day taking hundreds of piccies and they only use half a dozen or so. Am happy with the results though

The car looked good a 3dr in white is the best looking RS IMO. Is this your first feature, its a proud moment if it is.

Its actually my second feature, i was lucky enough to be featured in fastford in August of 2004 when i had a 380bhp 4x4 Sapph Cos, a friend had a 400 bhp 2wd Sapph which looked almost identical, we used to do a lot of shows in them back then so fast ford did a dual feature with both of the cars.

Thats not to say i'm not as proud as punch with this feature as a lot of late nights, cut fingers (i actually lost the whole end of my middle finger to a cossie!) and some foul language went into building it, and a very understanding other half!!

Funny thing is that i'm already looking to remove the block again sometime next month, i've got my 200 bottom end to go on! It never ends!!

I was gutted when i finally parted with that sapph, although must admit having been in fast ford it made it a lot easier to sell, i advertised it in auto trader and the day it came out i had phone calls at 6am from people wanting to come and see the car! Sold it to the first guy that came along and saw it the same day.
Dont think i could part with the 3dr in the same way though!

Kev, yeah he's doing well pal, hasnt got a cosworth anymore though he went to the dark side and now smokes about in a nice Evo VI. Be good to catch up fella, be good to have you have a look at my old girl (the car i mean! haha!) when you about these days mate?
