Shame I missed most of the day, but arrived around 1pm and still got to see the black Escos ripping away, well worth the very looooong drive to get there

Nice to meet you mate, can't believe I almost killed my car before even getting through the gates......f*cking idle valve! Cleaned it afterwards, now as good as the rest of the engine

 

Not sure on the spec but heard people talking and is was supposed to be 700hp ish it was fookin awesome though.

 

The Escort Van is a minter! It was going on the concourse section before we needed it to tie down the awning!

Was chatting to the Black Escos lads, good guys, engine is a Field Motorsport built 820bhp (dinner plate turbo), running 7 speed sequential box (FFD/Bara ? i think). Massive Brembo brakes, fuel cell, decent seats, proper spec cage. Lots of genuine WRC bits and bobs on it such as the rear spoiler and carlos sainz steering wheel.

We are doing a track day there on thursday 26th may if people missed the show or want more track time. Ł130 open pit lane all day.

Dave, did you notice the popping and banging the saff was doing round the corners? Low fuel so was being starved, filled her up and was proceeded to be told by the ownerto carry on thrashing it! Lol

Tightened/stiffened up the coilovers and was lot better.

Wayne is a good fella,ok got a few ŁŁ but he likes his cars, just the same as us and his head is not in the clouds etc..like some with money.

Good knowing your motor is holding up as well as mine round track too but I knew they would coz I built both the motors in them

 

ricks car did well since it woz commondered for runs after every think else broke down i would like to do a track day their its looks good but thats next year
