Default Tarox 6 Pot Caliper question

Hi Guys,

i have managed to pick up some Tarox B32 6 pot calipers from a friend of mine, they came complete less the brake pipes.

therefore would anyone be able to tell me what sort of pipe fitting is used i.e. banjoo etc and also what thread size the caliper is.

i have tried tarox themselves but they dont seem to be much help, as there are many varitions depending on the age of it.

here are some pictures of the caliper so you know which one i am on about and which thread.

it is the thread in the middle with nothing in that i need to know the size of.

any help would be much appreciated as obviously i want to get these on my car as quickly as possible.

thanks

Adam

Can you not measure the thread size yourself ? Failing that give Martin a bell at Reyland. He's up on his calipers ! Hope that helps. Chris

I have these calipers, with the pipes, it's a very common fitting banjo, though you don't have to use a banjo if you don't want, but easier to, I'll dig one out and get it sized for you with my pitch gauge, and post back today for you, but 99.9% sure BGC will know.

Hi I have been into hyphose and they told me it was a 3/8 UNF but that doesn't tie up with what tarox uk told me so just wanted to double check with those that use this caliper. I also asked if hyphose could make the pipes for me butthey don't deal with brakes at all so wouldn't male them for me.

Just to let you know I have found out that the thread is a 3/8 UNF.

I managed to get some pipes made by BGC as recommended by tabetha for a very good price.
