What sort of power will a rebuilt standard 4x4 box and rebuilt diffs take in a track car?

All depends on how its driven.

 

It won't be getting launched off the line but it is a track car

 

I've broken 4 in my life, three of them being third gear stripping teeth and 4th time being a snapped input shaft.... And i'm not running over 350bhp.

On a track car the dreaded stripping of teeth on third gear is likely to be your weekpoint... But saying that it's a bit of a lottery really... As between my 1st - 2nd box only get 6 launches before third gear was stripped but between 3rd -4th i got 250+..

 

So what's the next step up with diffs and a 4x4 box and what prices do they go for?

 

Ive got quaiffe atb diffs font and rear,you're looking about 1.5k mate.Box is about 2.5-3.5k.
