Making a series 2 4x4
im currently looking at the idea of having a zetec turbo built and having my series 2 converted to 4wd has anyone ever done this before and what kind of mods do i need to achieve this thanks

If you realy want the zetec turbo... then brake from the norm... dont use cossie gear.
- Look at grafting evo running gear on, big zetec turbo, would be a great car.
Either way, make no mistake, its alot of work to get it grafted right & neat.

I'd say use the evo box and rear end, djm used that on there ka with a cossie engine , would break from the norm , or even a Nissan pulsar box and back end but there not the strongest of gear boxes tbh

all depends on buget really ,
can see the only hurdle will be the sump ,
not sure if you could cut the mounting flange off a zetec sump and reweld it onto a a yb sump ,
anythings possible with a bit of lateral thinking
