My sister has a private plate, nout special really M*02 KYM which is on retention, she asked about selling it but not sure if it is worth it.

Regtransfer sent a quote of £700 for it with the wording 'we would be happy to advertise and sell your plate and would send you the above sum on completion' but reading the reviews makes me think they talk bollocks

DVLA have loads in that sequence at £255 so I reckon you could wait a very long time for £700.

You could put it on ebay or Gumtree but I doubt you will get more than the cost of putting it on retention.

thats what i told her iain, and just laughed at the £700 quid. Best of just forgetting about the thing.
