i think its nice,,+ next to none left and would probably be worth a fair bit in the future if stored properly,, the last ever remaining rs19ooi alive , id love to own it.

I don't get why you lot think its worth a fortune.
As a different take on an RS Turbo with a period kit and tuning its cool but the only thing going for it is the low milage - if documented. I would say a standard bodied low miler would be worth more and be more desirable.
If it was a well documented factory special then I'd agree but for an RS it doesn't have any particular provenance as a car unlike say Rouse Saphs.... also - belived to be the last one remaining.... Bollocks - I was at a Ford Show at Gaydon a few years ago and there were 6 or 7 on show...

Im not convinced with the advert! First of all he's got no feedback what so ever and he's obvoiusly sed eBay befor because the car didnt sell. Secondly RS1900I indicates that its a 1900cc not 1597cc so its now lost the special part about the car. Its now just a RS tirbo with a ridiculous kit on.

haha, i think it looks the nuts seeing as its not just a 1.3 with a kit, its more or less one of a kind, or will be soon enough, so id love to have it for that fact at least..
and i never said it Was worth a fortune, im saying it will be soon, coz in a couple of years if not less, there will be none left.
Just needs the original engine and it would be sweet,, according to the fella its number 25 of 25, and i dare say most of the others have either been stolen/written off/burnt out/ stripped/ or sitting somewhere rusting into a pile of worthless metal

Thats an rs1700t malcome wilson owns and there were a development rear wheel drive bda for rallying and i think 3 were only ever made etc. Different car etc. There eworth shit loads. They never went ahead with it and ended up making the escos instead.

The powertrains were mothballed and used in the rs200 project not the escos

I was offered this one 3 years ago for Ł1200, a mate of mine bought it thinking there was profit in it to sell, he put it up for Ł2995 and guess what?

Its a figure of speech guys, the fact that he's had it up for sale for over 3 years tells you something about how desirable it is!
