I have been looking for some thing also as i have a few fuses and cables everywhere, was going to try and hide it behind the battery. Still undecided - have a look on here it might give you some ideas.

You could just mount it somewhere and looks a lot tidier than what i've got at the minute!
£28.99 though, not cheap!

I use a Marine pole socket for my live wires, too many for battery, it's a post that secures to a flat panel, then has a 6mm stud that you bolt all the terms onto, comes with neat cover and is waterproof as marine, cost was around £6.
For the negative side I used a positive side battery multi connector bit , bent the retaing bracket from sticking up to down now flipped over and it fits on the negative side perfectly, and of course being a mirror image of the positive side one it is factory looking, and free from most scrappies!!

Take a look at the VAG stuff. They run a small fuse box off the battery, with high amp fusible links inside and terminals.
search egay for VW Battery fuse box etc. There are various designs. TPS will sell them at reasonable prices. Some of the egay prices are actually high.

The VW fuse boxes come with cable already fitted.
Size of cable will depend on the load you want it to carry though. 16mm^2 welding cable would be more than adequate.

First thing i'd do is work out why there are 10 wires on the battery, surely some of those are going to be unnecessary and can be removed altogether.
For the wires you do need what's wrong with keeping it simple with this for £3

Theres no main fuse in it as it is standard! All the juction box is doing is moving the wires from one point to another. Plus all the componants that wire to the plus side no doubt have there own fuses anyway
