Standard map sensor is 2 bar so I'll wait for someone to correct me but I think it will only read up to 1 bar.

I head it was half posative and half negative so you should get 1 bar pos and 1 bar neg off a 2bar map sensor
But ive also heard people say that they get 28psi pos out of a 3 bar map sensor so id like some one to answer this question aswell

Doesn't a 3 bar map sensor read up to 2 bar?

should be 1.5 pos and 1.5 neg i think 1 bar = 14.6psi if my memory serves me well so that should be a max of about 22-23 psi should'nt it ?

you can run as much boost as you want on either map sensor as long as the mapping is correct,

just because the map sensor reaches its max, doesnt mean you cannot fuel it there for 60 psi if you wanted,

but it would be rich from the map sensors max reading all the way to the peak boost it was mapped for, but correct at its peak. if the mapping was correct.
